Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry, Al-Azhar College of Arts and Science Thodupuzha was established in 2012. The department offers a Bachelors programme in Chemistry and Masters programme in Pure Chemistry. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of chemical sciences. The department focuses on both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with a strong emphasis on laboratory skills and instrumentation. The well-equipped labs provide students with hands-on experience, supporting both coursework and independent research.

The Department is equipped with competent, dedicated, and experienced faculty members with innovative teaching and learning methods.
